The Journey Towards DSCSA Compliance
In October 2022, we embarked on a complex yet rewarding journey in partnership with McKesson 3PL. Our shared goal was to fully comply with the DSCSA – a law enacted to build an electronic, interoperable system that ensures the traceability of certain prescription drugs distributed within the United States. This journey required significant efforts in system integration, cooperation, and willingness to adapt to new processes and technologies.

We're delighted to announce that our efforts have come to fruition. Today, Amici Pharmaceuticals stands as the first McKesson 3PL client, serviced out of Mason, Ohio, capable of distributing generic pharmaceuticals fully serialized in line with DSCSA requirements.
This achievement underscores our commitment not only to the DSCSA but also to patient safety. By ensuring the legitimacy of the drug supply chain, we are enhancing the detection and removal of potentially dangerous drugs.
